I'm Exhausted
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I don't know about you, but I find this fabulous food extravaganza holiday to be most exhausting. Mom gives me special treats in my dinner -- you know what I mean -- the good stuff that we never, ever get to have on a normal day. I had my regular food mixed with turkey, green beans, and some really yummy kind of thick wet stuff -- I think Mom called it gravy. I didn't get too much of that though. Mom said it was not very good for me. I often wonder if she knows what it truly good. Anyway, I had a feast. And then, just like the humans, I was soooooooooo tired that I decided to have my Dad love on me for a minute and then curled up for a well deserved nap.......zzzzzzzzz....I don't think I woke up until this morning.

We're so glad you had a happy turkey day. You are so lucky you got special vittles mixed in with your food! I love the picture of you sleeping on Dad's shoe - you're a good boy Duggie :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time. I think I'm going to insist Mom host Thanksgiving here next year. She went to not 1, but 2 Thanksgiving feasts - and I got nadda. Jokes on her - no leftovers - I think she might have to do a mini T-day dinner tomorrow and I plan to hand her your menu list! Thanks! Abbey
